CRAZY days gone by!
So sorry that I haven't blogged for awhile. Our internet has been giving us fits and we have just been really busy. I haven't had much time to myself to even look at my email let alone blogs. Sooo..... I will just write a little bit of an update. We have been doing pretty well. I have been tired lately with having the boys inside for the past few months and all they want to do is climb all over me while I am holding Hayden. I love being a mom, but it gets really tiresome if I am unable to get a little bit of time to myself. I just need that time to help give me a reboost for the day. Daxton has been doing awesome in Primary and he looks forward to it every week. For the last little while in Nursery all he would do is fight and bite some of the kids and I know that he was in need of a change and he loves being a sunbeam. Corbin, on the other hand, has been struggling in Nursery. He misses Daxton in there with him and so we have been having playdates with his Nursery leader and playing with her son Ryland. This last Sunday Corbin was crying the whole time which is a big step and was playing with the other kids and not strapped to Mat's leg. YEAH!!! Hayden has been getting so big and it has been hard to carry him around for very long. I wouldn't be surprised if by his 6 month appointment he was 20lbs or more. He is such a big boy. The hardest part is that if I put him down he is good for a little bit and can now turn from back to tummy and is working on from tummy to back. (He has done it a couple of times, but not very often.) This is when he gets upset because he can't move anywhere and then he spits up all over the floor. So most of the time he is up in my arms, which is fine for a little while.
This last Saturday we went to the Draper Temple open house with half of my family. Just us girl siblings and families and my parents, along with Chelsea's mother-in-law. We had a really good time and the kids did a wonderful job. We are so blessed to have some many temples so close to it. Corbin really enjoyed it and was really good in the stroller and loved looking for all the pictures of Jesus throughout the temple. Daxton had a good time and thought the bus ride was awesome and stopped in the Celestial room and liked the chandeler. Hayden was having a rough time, but he was strapped to the front of me and his legs are long enough that they kept bumping into my legs and I was having a hard time walking without hitting his legs. It was awesome to look in the sealing rooms and to see my whole family looking in there and it going on forever. It was a great feeling to have. Afterwards we went to Chuck-A-Rama in Draper and had great food. It was nice to know that my boys were excited to go to the temple. Everytime we go to the temple Daxton asks if he can come and we have to tell him in a few more years, but it was nice to say that he could come with us that time. We are looking forward to going again to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple Open House in June with my family again. There is such a wonderful spirit there and I know that my boys felt it and hope that it can stay with them always.
