I can't believe it's JUNE already!

Ah, June. The Birthday month for my family. It is a pretty crazy month for the Larsen family. All but Hayden and I are in June for birthdays, except that Mat and I will be celebrating our 5th Anniversary this year!!!! I can't believe how 5 years can go by so quickly. Anyway, the first birthday will be the 13th-- Corbin will be turning 2. He has already hit those terrible twos when he was a year old or so. He's a little stinker sometimes, but most of the time he does it in such a cute way that it is hard to be mad at him for long. For instance, he had kicked me one time and I put on the poutty lip and he went up to me and strummed his fingers up and down my lip and I couldn't help but laugh. He knows when I am always in need of a hug or a kiss. He's angel sometimes and so sweet. I can't believe he is going to be two.

Next birthday is on the 16th-- Mat will be 27 this year! He says that he is getting sooooo old. It just makes me laugh. For his birthday we are going to celebrate it a little bit early by going to the Ryan Shupe and Rubberband concert up at the Sandy Ampitheater tomorrow night. I got him tickets for his birthday and I am so excited to go to the concert with him. We haven't been for a few years and we LOVE Ryan Shupe!!!!!

Next event is Father's day! and then our Anniversary on the 25th. He seems like so long ago and not that we were married in the Manti Temple. Crazy how time flies so fast and yet not at the exact same time.

Next birthday is on the 30th-- Daxton will be turning 4 years old. He is so excited for his birthday. He keeps asking me if it's his birthday yet and I keep telling him not yet. He wants to have his birthday so that he can go to school in the fall. He is so EXCITED to go to school. Frankly, I am excited for him to go to school. I know that he will learn more there and he will be able to find friends there and I know that he will enjoy learning. He is also going to be in soccer this fall. He is very good about keeping the ball in front of him and sliding to kick the ball. We have been practicing at home. He is such a sweetheart and I love him dearly. We both have taught each other so much and he loves being in Primary. He knows that he is a big kid now that he is potty trained, goes to primary and will be going to school. He loves getting older and I can't believe how times sure flies. Next thing I'll know is that he will be getting baptized, ordained a deacon, graduating from high school and then leaving for his mission. WOW!! A lot of things to look forward to, but also a lot of stuff that I want to hold onto for right now and hold my little boy for just a little bit longer.

My baby keeps getting bigger.....

Well I weighed Hayden when he turned 7 months old on the 19th and he is over 20 lbs. I can't believe how big he is getting. He is now rolling around everywhere and he is starting to army crawl. He loves to be on the floor, most of the time, and he likes to get into his brothers things, especially when they don't want him to. He always has a smile on his face for someone who really needs it. He's such a cutie!

Armor of God lesson for FHE!!

Here is Daxton helping us demonstrate the Armor of God. He had a great time showing us his armor. He kept asking when he could go and get it on. Mat did a good job in a matter of 2 hours to get it all put together. Mat read it from Ephesians 6:11-17.
Mat taking away part of Daxton's armor and what would happen if we took away part of our spiritual armor and how exposed we would be in battle.

Daxton ready to fight with all of his might.

And of course I had to try it on for size. The breastplate that Mat made didn't fit me, but the helmet did. Mat thought that it was cool that I could fit into the helmet and he couldn't.
I think that this is going to be one of those lasting FHE lessons for Daxton because he was able to participate in it in a totally different way.

Andrew Parker Chapman

Lil' Andrew Parker Chapman born May 7, 2009 @ 10pm
weighing 7lbs 7oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. He's so cute! This is Mat's sister Emily's little addition.

Hayden and Andrew

Look at the difference of just about 7 months. We were able to stop by Emily and Kyle's place after being in Park City that day. We were able to see them. We had a really good time and had a really good visit. They always make us feel at home and welcomed. Thanks Em and Kyle. Congratulations!

Girls Night out!

Ok, for this last weekend my sisters, mom and sister-in-laws all but one got together and we went up to Midway to have a girls night out! We had such a blast. We met up in Lindon to have dinner at the Pizza Factory. I had not been there before and it was really good. It reminded me of Brick Oven. Then we headed up to Midway where my sister Apryl has timeshare up there and we had a great time. We went swimming in the cold water and then got warmed up in the hot tub. After that we went back to our room and played games until 1am. It's impressive! I know! It was a whole lot easier when we didn't have kids screaming for us and we could just relax, play and have FUN!!! We were able to get to know each other a little bit better when we played games and I hope that we can keep this a tradition. It was nice to get away. I even left Hayden with Mat. It was a little difficult for both of us. I was really sore and Mat didn't get a whole lot of sleep, but we made it through. Mat met us up there and we went shopping with just us girls first and that was fun to be together and help each other out. Mat was able to get some more shorts that were long enough for him and we got the boys some more clothes. I couldn't find what I was looking for. If you can give me a good store that has long knee length skirts that are either white, black or brown let me know. I haven't been able to find any. Thanks!

BUSY... BUSY.... BUSY!!!

Tacy and Josh Jackson

Sorry that it has been so long. It's been so crazy. One, the nice weather outside has made it that I want to be outside working on the yard and playing with my boys. And two, so many other committments that I haven't found the time to get to the computer to check my emails let alone to write on my blog. It's been fun, but crazy. We were able to go to one of our friends from Snow College wedding receptions this last Tuesday and we had a great time. The last time we saw them was when we were at my roommate's wedding in August of 2008. So it had been awhile and I was still pregnant with Hayden. Time sure does fly though. Tacy looked beautiful and happy to be with Josh. Congratulations you two!!! We were able to be up there with some of our other friends from Snow, Aaron and Chelsey Bean and their little girl McKayla and Brett and Colette Day and it was good to be with them. Oh, I have to tell you the cutest thing that happened that day. Daxton was not happy that we were going to the reception until I mentioned that McKayla was going to be there and he got really excited and wanted to go right then. Later that day we had just finished dinner and were trying to find out where Aaron and Chelsey were and I mentioned McKayla again and Daxton was yelling at Mat, "Go Daddy! GO!!!" He wanted to go and get McKayla and be with her. Ah, my little boys first crush. I think that it is so cute. That whole hour they were together they just played with each other. I think it's really cute though. Aren't they just cute!?!?!?!
